Salary: Up to £35k depending on experience, car allowance, Laptop, Phone and other associated equipment provided

Location:  Cambridgeshire (with UK travel)

Requirement: We are currently seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager who is currently or has previously been responsible for the design and implementation of quality systems including the writing of policies and procedures along with knowledge and experience of auditing against related standards and legislation within a secure environment.

To be selected for an interview, applicants should meet the minimum criteria:

·      Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working as a Quality or Compliance Manager;

·      Qualified lead auditor of 9001:2105 or 2008;

·      Knowledge of and experience of auditing to security related British Standards such as 7499, 7960, 7958, 7858;

·      Knowledge of and involvement with SIA Approved Contractor Scheme;

·      Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management;

·      Hold a valid SIA guarding license;

·      Computer literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Additional desirable criteria:

·      Understanding of additional quality management systems such as 18001 & 14001;

·      Health & Safety qualification (Level 3 or above)

Key Responsibilities:

·      Responsible for ensuring compliance to security standards and legislation through an internal audit process and conducting investigations into breaches of policy, procedure, and dishonesty;

·      Create a continuous improvement culture. Identify and develop value-added ideas by sharing and implementing ‘Best Practice’ and challenging/improving Company processes within the business;

·      Ensure maintenance of the Company’s quality management documentation through a PDCA approach and where required write and implement new and/or amended policies and processes;

·      Focus on clearing blockages which prevent KPIs being achieved and ensuring the quality is right;

·      Completion of the audit plan and through audits identify business improvement opportunities;

·      Ensure, following Internal and External Audits that any statutory or company compliance issues are resolved and actions are taken to prevent re-occurrence;

·      Maintain and build relationships with industry regulators and awarding bodies such as the SIA and NSI by attending forums and facilitating external audits;

·      Support risk management through implementation, maintaining and testing Business Continuity Plans;

·      When appropriate assist Sales on PQQs, tenders, and re-tenders to ensure compliance for new work.
